Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are
Big Pitch UK is a trading name of Tech Savvy Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10487796), with registered office at Unit 4 JLL Industrial Estate, 1-9 Kingsley Street, Bury, Lancashire, BL8 2RF. VAT number: GB 262 2857 95. In these terms, we refer to ourselves as “Big Pitch UK”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
You can contact us at hello@bigpitchuk.co.uk for general enquiries, or legal@bigpitchuk.co.uk for legal and privacy matters.
2. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Big Pitch UK website at bigpitchuk.co.uk and any associated services, including paid subscriptions (the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
3. What Big Pitch UK provides
Big Pitch UK is a directory of caravan, campsite, and holiday park sites in the United Kingdom that accept large recreational vehicles, including American RVs, fifth wheels, twin-axle caravans, and motorhomes measuring nine metres and above.
We provide site information including (but not limited to) maximum unit length, pitch type, electrical supply, facilities, and access notes. Information is gathered from site owners, public sources, and our community of users. We make reasonable efforts to verify accuracy but we do not guarantee that any information is current, complete, or error-free. Always confirm critical details (such as whether a site can accommodate your specific rig) directly with the site before travelling.
Big Pitch UK does not book pitches on your behalf. Booking is arranged directly between you and the site owner or their chosen booking platform.
4. Your account
To access certain features you must create an account. You must:
- Provide accurate and complete information when signing up
- Keep your password confidential and not share your account
- Be at least 18 years old
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or are used to harass other users or site owners.
5. Subscriptions and payment
5.1 Pricing
Our standard annual subscription is £29.99 per year (including VAT at the prevailing UK rate). We may offer promotional pricing for early subscribers; the price you pay is the price displayed at checkout.
5.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed annually in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method the subscription fee at each renewal date. You can update your payment method or cancel renewal at any time via your account settings.
5.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each annual billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email you at least 14 days before each renewal to remind you.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time via your account settings or by emailing hello@bigpitchuk.co.uk. Outside the 14-day refund window, cancellation stops renewal and you keep access until the end of your paid billing period. Within that window, cancellation refunds the covered payment and ends paid access immediately.
5.5 Refunds and cooling-off period
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first membership payment and each annual renewal payment, even if you have used the paid features. Refunding a membership payment ends paid access immediately. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. See our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringes any third party’s rights
- Submit false site information, fake reviews, or impersonate any person or site owner
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any user’s account
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Service without our written permission
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
We may remove content that violates these Terms and suspend or terminate accounts that do so repeatedly.
7. User-generated content
When you post reviews, photos, check-ins, or other content to the Service (“User Content”), you retain ownership of your content but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it as part of the Service.
You confirm that your User Content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third party’s rights. We may remove User Content at our discretion, particularly if it is reported as inaccurate, abusive, or infringing.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Service that is not User Content — including the Big Pitch UK name, logo, design, software, site database, and editorial content — is owned by Tech Savvy Solutions Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not use it without our written permission, except as required for normal use of the Service.
8.1 Third-party imagery on listings
Where a listing displays a photograph of a campsite, that image may have been sourced from the campsite’s own public website (e.g. the page’s Open Graph image) or from a third-party directory and is used solely to help users identify the listing. Copyright in those photographs remains with the original rights holder. We record the source of each image we publish, and where the source or licence basis of an image is unknown we do not display it.
8.2 Notice-and-takedown
If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Service infringes your rights, we operate a notice-and-takedown procedure. Please follow the steps on our copyright & takedown page or write to copyright@bigpitchuk.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 5 working days and remove clearly-infringing content promptly while we investigate.
9. Liability
We provide the Service “as is”. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any information on the Service.
You are responsible for verifying critical access information (pitch length, gate widths, height restrictions, ground conditions, booking availability) directly with the site before travelling. Big Pitch UK accepts no liability for losses arising from inaccurate or out-of-date site information.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Third-party sites and services
The Service contains links to third-party websites (including site owners’ own booking pages and platforms such as Pitchup). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your dealings with third parties are at your own risk.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time via your account settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay subscription fees.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain certain account data as required by law or as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
13. Complaints and ADR
If you have a complaint, please contact us at legal@bigpitchuk.co.uk. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to access alternative dispute resolution through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
